I love Toronto the most in the early Fall, when the days are still warm, the sun still sets late into the evening and patio fans loiter in luxury on the side of every curb here and there with a pint and penchant to hold on to the summer before winter woes keep us locked in tight. Toronto really shines in the Autumn as folks get back to regular work hours and students throw their noses back into their books. Tis the season for versatility: flashy designer jackets, sexy leather boots and the twirl of a scarf. The Hi Mocs spongy sole is made from plantation crepe, the most sustainable and natural form of rubber. One must fight the fat year round! The outsole is a waterproof vulcanized rubber shell with a stylish herringbone design. Toronto based Yo Sox was launched by a group of sock aficionados who pledged to make feet fashionable and fun.
I almost didn't get into a bar in town simply because I had 'Rockport' boots on. Why on earth would anyone notice that I had Rockport boots on anyway when inside the bar was extremely dark! I don't get it, I asked a friend why I almost didn't get in just because of my boots which actually looked a lot smarter than the other peoples footwear who I was with, he said "because a lot of trouble makers wear Rockport" - that is ridiculas if that is true, anyone can be a trouble maker it doesn't matter what brand they wear. It was your face, not your boots.
What is wrong with me? Do I have some sort of foot fetish? But they have to be flat! People who say heels are comfy?
